Thanks for all the work you did this past weekend. I had a question I couldn't find the answer to in the rule book. Can a swimmer get called up based on his/her time from the consolation final? Or are call-ups only based on times from A Finals in Regionals?
ReplyDeleteHey Jeff -
ReplyDeleteI believe the specific rule is in section 1290 of the UIL rule book. Under H,3 it states, "Qualifiers to State. The first place winner in each of eight regional swimming meets and the next eight swimmers
with the best regional final times overall will advance to the state meet"
The key words in that statement being "regional final".
Hi there! I was wondering if you could help me. I am trying to find the meet results for the 6a (region 4) regional swim meet that was at Shenandoah. I have looked and only found the qualifiers to the state meet but haven't been able to find a detailed regional meet results. Thanks!
